Official ballot list

The state or local election authority settles who qualified for a particular ballot.

Federal filing record

The FEC shows federal registration and campaign finance reports. It does not settle state ballot access.

Public record

Official roll calls and bill records show what an officeholder did, with procedural context included.

Presidential cycle

Use the FEC view for federal finance filings, then use each state authority for the certified presidential ticket. We do not turn early filings into a ballot list.
