What this site is

WomanVoters has a factual layer and an editorial layer, and they are kept apart on purpose.

The factual layer helps any eligible voter reach accurate official information: registration, ballots, polling places, accessibility, language help, election offices, and results. That layer uses official election sources, does not favor a party or a candidate, and collects nothing from you.

The editorial layer explains how offices, legislation, court decisions, budgets, and ballot measures affect women, families, bodily autonomy, economic security, and equal participation. That layer has a point of view, it is labeled everywhere it appears, and it never changes the voting instructions in the factual layer.

What this site is not

WomanVoters.com is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with the League of Women Voters of the United States, its state or local chapters, or VOTE411. If you were looking for that organization, use a search engine to reach it directly rather than relying on this site.

How the publication is run

This publication is operated by a single owner. There is no newsroom of reporters here, and we do not pretend otherwise. One accountable editor reviews every consequential fact against its primary source before it is published, and the review record for time-sensitive values appears on the page next to the value.

This site links to AbortionProcedure.com, which covers non-graphic reproductive health education, because the policy decisions explained here reach the care described there. It is an editorial link and not a paid placement. The two sites are separately edited and separately measured. Values we state openly

We support broad access to the ballot, bodily autonomy, equal opportunity, accountable government, and representative democracy. Those commitments shape which subjects we cover and what we argue in labeled commentary. They never change a deadline, an identification rule, a polling location, or a results status on this site.

We also hold a factual commitment that cuts against easy narratives: women are not a political monolith, and we will not write as if they were.

How to check our work

Every consequential fact links to its primary source. Every time-sensitive value shows when it was verified, by whom, and when the next review is due.
